Addiction and Recovery Organization Launches $10,000 Giving Campaign to create Workforce Hub

The Mid-Ohio Valley Fellowship Home (MOVFH) is the leading organization in the addiction and recovery help of residents in the Mid-Ohio Valley. We offer five safe, sober and supportive homes for residents that are struggling with addiction and serve West Virginia and Ohio residents and their families.

As we launch this year's giving campaign, now more than ever, the Fellowship Home feels the pressure of the addiction epidemic happening in the Mid-Ohio Valley.

The Mid-Ohio Valley Fellowship Home has helped more than 6700 families in the last 50 years.

The goal of this year’s Giving Campaign is $10,000. With the funds raised during this giving campaign, we will be able to help provide a resource to help residents with one of their immediate goals, which is to obtain employment.  We are working with Workforce WV to provide a Workforce Hub on-site that will provide valuable resources such as resume writing and work attire to help our clients succeed in the workforce during their time at MOVFH and beyond.

“The Workforce Hub will help us have a central location at The Fellowship Home where clients can go to get any resource they may need to obtain employment,” states Hannah West, Board President.

The Workforce Hub, which will be a one-stop shop for residents, will require space and a new building. With the funds collected during this year's Giving Campaign, a space on-site has been selected, and a permanent building will be constructed to contain all resources.

“Our residents are excited to have this designated space. Once completed, my board and staff look forward to working with the community to help fill this space with necessary items to set our residents up for success in the workforce”, states Brandy Blatt, Executive Director of the MOVFH.

If your organization is looking for a way to give this holiday season, please let us know by contacting our Executive Director Brandy Blatt,  304-485-3341, or by email at info@movfh.org. All contributions are tax-deductible.
